On 20.09.2021, District Administrator Josef Laumer informed himself at the Sturm-Gruppe in Salching about the restructuring phase that has been ongoing since 2017.
According to the management, the developments are very good – the order situation has been increasing again since the middle of the year, confidence and security are also back despite the ongoing Corona pandemic.
Peter Prinz, Chairman of the Management Board, emphasized that the company now wants to concentrate on its key competencies and broaden its base. The automotive industry remains the biggest mainstay, but other areas must also be included in the future strategy.
The Sturm-Gruppe can look confidently into a good future, it is and will remain a supporting pillar of the community of Salching and has a lot of potential and a lot of talent. These were the conclusions drawn by the district administrator and the management together with the mayor Alfons Neumeier at the end of the visit.
